The Maxwell® 16 Mouse Tail DNA Purification Kit is used with the Maxwell® 16 Instrument to extract DNA from mouse tails, ear punches and other tissue in 30–45 minutes. The easy, automated purification method gives consistent yield and purity. The action of the plunger grinds solid tissue samples directly in the lysis buffer in the prefilled reagent cartridges. This integrated grinding replaces time- and labor-intensive use of lytic enzymes such as proteinase K or manual tissue grinding prior to purification.
The Maxwell® System provides efficient processing and higher sample capacity than comparable systems, without detectable cross-contamination between samples, speeding sample processing and reducing rework.
