Application

Mercury standard solution can be used as a calibration standard in the determination of mercury in fish samples by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry (CVAAS).[1]

1000 mg/l Hg in 2 mol/l HNO₃, prepared with high-purity Hg(NO₃)₂, HNO₃, and water.
